The Magic of Fall Foliage

The stunning fall foliage owes its transformation to a delicate interplay of chemistry, biology, and the changing seasons. Different tree species contribute their unique shades to the autumn palette. Oaks and hickories often display russet tones, while maples light up the landscape with fiery reds and oranges. The diversity of tree species in a particular area contributes to the rich tapestry of fall colours we admire yearly.
