However, it does require care on a regular basis to preserve the wood.  If you don’t want to make that level of commitment, opt for pieces with sturdy aluminum frames and durable resin wicker.

To keep any patio furniture looking its best, regular cleaning is key. Start by removing loose dirt and debris with a soft brush or cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap and water solution. Gently scrub the surfaces and rinse thoroughly. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the furniture’s finish.

Cushions add comfort and style to your outdoor seating. Many of our cushions are developed with Sunbrella technology; however, it is still recommended to keep them out of harsh environments when not in use to prevent mold or mildew.  This can be achieved by moving them indoors, to a storage container, or covering them with a patio furniture cover.  If your cushions do get dirty and have removeable covers, follow the manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning and maintenance.

Preventing wear and tear, these covers are an essential tool to protect your outdoor furniture from the elements.

Strategic placement of your patio furniture can contribute to its longevity. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight for prolonged periods, as this can cause fading or damage to certain materials. Additionally, periodically inspect your furniture for any signs of wear or loose components. Addressing minor issues promptly can prevent them from becoming major problems.

As each season brings its unique challenges, adjusting your patio furniture care routine accordingly is essential. In the spring, remove any accumulated debris and inspect for winter damage. In the summer, focus on regular cleaning and maintaining the cushions.
